Kuwait Woman Awarded 1500 Kwd After She Filed A Case Against Online Shopping Fraud

A Kuwaiti court has ordered a woman be paid KD1500 ($5000) compensation after a purse she bought via Instagram was revealed to be a fake.

The woman paid KD500 for what she thought was an authentic item and later discovered it was a premium counterfeit,The photo-sharing site has become increasingly popular for businesses to promote themselves, including links to their online shopping websites.

The daily did not reveal the fake goods seller.
