Kuwaiti Arrested With 9,000 Amphetamine Pills

A Kuwaiti national has been arrested with 9,000 amphetamine pills in the Governorate of Mubarak Al-Kabeer.

The haul of narcotics pills are estimated at more than KD18,000.

The anti-narcotics officers who acted promptly, based on secret information, found military insignia of a captain in the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry and a lieutenant in the army.

They have also seized seals bearing the names of a surgeon, the deputy director of a hospital and a secretary working with a member of the ruling family.

The trafficker who was caught at the district of Taima’a was referred to the competent authorities to face charges and then stand trial.
