Kuwaiti Dies During Swim At Patong Beach In Thailand

A Citizen 71-year-old has died after a group of people carried him out of the water unconscious at Patong Beach yesterday , Police received a call reporting that a tourist had drowned near Loma Park in #Phuket Island, #Thailand rescue workers to find people gathered around as lifeguards to an unconscious man, identified as Abdullah Almusawi , the man was taken to the Hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon after arrival.

His Thai wife , Kamla Rungrueng, aged approximately 40 years old, said she and her husband had been on holiday in Phuket with their son for the past 10 days.

He went swimming around 3.30pm, leaving his wife and children on the beach. About half an hour later Mrs Kamla was stunned to see people crowded around lifeguards attempting to resuscitate her husband. Police say the victim was known to have several health issues, including high blood pressure. They are waiting for postmortem results to determine the exact cause of death.
