Kuwaiti Female Fashion Designer Was Imprisoned For Cheating A Kuwaiti Businesswoman

A well-known Kuwaiti female fashion designer was sentenced to three months for cheating a Kuwaiti businesswoman. The convict conned the businesswoman out of KD 40,000 after persuading her that she would set up a joint fashion project which would be profitable. The Public Prosecution indicted the woman, who is considered to be a top Arab fashion designer, and referred her to the court of misdemeanor, which handed her a three-month jail term.The designer kept telling the businesswoman that the project would be opened soon before avoiding her by switching off her cellphone. Inquiry revealed that the convict had also conned other women. The designer will also face a civil court case.
