Kuwaiti Govt Is Serious In Taking Legal Actions Against Anyone Offends Saudi Arabia

The Kuwaiti Government is "serious and determined" to take legal actions against anyone who offendsKuwait Saudi relations, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah reiterated on Tuesday.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled made this remark at the beginning of today's parliamentary session, following MPs' request to respond to televised comments made by MP Abdulhamid Dashti against Saudi Arabia and the Gcc countries on February 24th.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled pointed out that Dashti's comments were made on the eve of Kuwait's national celebrations to "disturb the festivity," pointing out that "whoever attempts to ruffle the strong Kuwaiti-Saudi ties should re-consider, as their endeavors will fail." He stressed that the Kuwaiti society should form a united front to counter political, economic and security challenges in the region.
