15 January 2017 Crime News

The Kuwaiti Interpol has arrested three Egyptians wanted by Cairo in connection with murder. The first crime was committed in 2015 in Upper Egypt when two brothers mistakenly killed their sibling and an innocent person was arrested because of the differences between the family of the suspect and the family of the victim Interrogations conducted in Egypt proved two brothers killed their sibling and they had been sentenced in absentia to 25 years in jail. However they managed to fl ee to Kuwait before a travel ban was issued against them. A Kuwaiti security source said two brothers of the victim who worked in Kuwait killed a compatriot in the belief he was the murderer and not their brothers and then left for Egypt. The source said the Egyptian authorities released them because the Kuwaiti authorities had not sent the case file to Egypt. The source added the third Egyptian was arrested in Jahra and he was sentenced in absentia to 10 years for shooting at State Security officer during demonstrations that took place at the Al-Tahrir Square in Egypt. The three Egyptians shall be handed over to the Egyptian authorities.
