Kuwaitis In Japan Safe After Earthquake

Kuwaiti citizens in Japan are safe following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck northeastern Japan on Tuesday.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Kuwaiti embassy also advised all citizens living in Japan to take extreme caution and to follow all instructions issued by the local authorities, in particular, tsunami alerts and evacuation orders, to ensure their continued safety.

It also urged Kuwaiti citizens who may need help or find themselves encountering an emergency situation, to call the embassy at any time on the following telephone numbers: 03-3455-0361, 03-3455-0362 or 03-3455-0363.
