Legal Action Considered Against Kuwait International Airport Strikers Company

13 July 2016 Kuwait

The Public Authority for Manpower on Tuesday said that it was considering legal action against a company whose staff at the Kuwait international Airport recently went on strike claiming they had not received their wages.
The owner of the cleaning company was summoned today, and warned that legal action would be taken against the firm if it failed to commit itself to paying workers' dues, said the Authority's Acting Director Ahmad Al-Moussa.

He added that the recent workers' strikes took place as some companies failed to pay their staff, noting that the authority took the necessary measures against them.
Al-Moussa stressed that they would not tolerate uncommitted companies.
