Legal Age Of Juvenile Reduced To 16 Years

Assistant Director General of the Criminal Investigation General Department in the Interior Ministry Brigadier Badr Al-Ghadouri has confirmed the implementation of the bill to reduce the legal age of a juvenile to 16 years old by the beginning of 2017.

According to the bill, juvenile offenders should appear before a penal court instead of the juvenile court; hence, the possibility of facing death penalty.
