Man Arrested For Trying To Sell Police Car

An unidentified individual was arrested for attempting to sell a vehicle which is similar to those used by patrol officers affiliated to Ministry of Interior, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The General Department for Public Relations and Media Security of Ministry of Interior explained that the Cyber Crime Division of General Department for Criminal Evidences, after discovering an online advertisement for the sale of a patrol vehicle, launched investigations to find the person responsible for the advertisement.

Eventually, the suspect was arrested. When questioned, he insisted that he is not trying to sell a patrol vehicle but a vehicle that looks similar to a patrol vehicle. He was referred to the concerned authorities for further investigations and necessary legal action. The department warned people of Kuwait against misuse of computers, smartphones and social media.
