Man Kills Son, Dumps Body

The body of a citizen was found in the desert in Umm Al-Haiman yesterday, and investigations revealed the man was killed by his father. The department of relations and security information at the Interior Ministry said Ahmadi criminal detectives confronted the suspect with evidence over his involvement in killing his son, and he confessed to committing the crime. The father said that his son was threatening him, and one day the son came to his home with a weapon. The father convinced his son to go with him to a ranch, but when they entered Ali Sabah Al-Salem (Umm Al-Haiman), the suspect shot the victim twice in the head and chest, threw the body from the car and fled the scene. The father told police that he disposed off the weapon in the desert and set the car on fire.
