Minister Signs Kd-5-million Deal On Roads

Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Al-Omair has signed a deal worth KD 5.2 million (US$17.3 million) for supervising establishment and maintenance of roads and intersections of the Fifth Ring Road.

The deal includes setting up five bridges and a road for services on the sides of the Fifth Ring Road with two lanes extending 5.5 kilometers, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. Under the deal, other bridges will be established, the statement added.
