Ministry Warns Shops For Violation

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has a plan to administratively close shops which commit repeated offences, particularly illegally raising the prices of commodities, even if the raise is minimal.

Explained the ministry shall apply the law on all companies, whether large or small, shops or restaurants or international agencies. Action shall be taken as soon as a complaint is received. The ministry has given its 150 inspectors full authority to seize counterfeit goods being sold in the market.
