Mourners And Preacher Quarrelled In Graveyard

Verbal altercations between mourners and a preacher escalated into a fistfight in Sulaibikhat Graveyard Thursday after the latter made a controversial statement regarding ‘takfiri’. Initial investigations revealed the mourners regarded the statement as a form of contravening funeral traditions which usually consist of eulogizing the deceased, imploring for mercy for the soul of the departed, and condoling those whom the deceased left behind.
