Mp Faisal Al-kandari Calls To Tighten Security In Public Places

MP Faisal Al-Kandari has called on the Interior Ministry to tighten security in places where families gather, especially during holidays, concerts and other events.

In a press statement, the lawmaker also stressed the need for intensive police presence in public areas to quickly deal with reports from citizens and expatriates, considering the rising number of teenagers engaged in reckless activities like performing car stunts.

He praised the securitymen for the arrest of some people, including two officers, involved in indecent activities in Sabah Al-Ahmed.

He lauded Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammed Khalid’s decision to suspend the two officers until completion of the factfinding committee’s investigation. He believes these actions will restore people’s confidence in the ability of securitymen to protect them.
