Municipality Destroyed 1,680 Kgs Of Expired Foodstuff

The Food and Market Inspection Unit of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality destroyed 1,680 kgs of expired foodstuff and issued 16 citations during an inspection campaign recently.

In a press statement, the Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality affirmed that the municipality branches in all governorates will continue to launch inspection campaigns with the aim of confronting traffic law violators and ensuring the traffic regulations are being followed.

The department also stressed the need for shops that handle foodstuff to use well-covered clean containers for storing food items properly. Meanwhile, Ahmadi Municipality lifted 77 tons of waste materials from various empty lots in Mahboula area during a recent field campaign.
