Municipality Director Warned Bachelors Living In Residential Areas

Hawally municipality director Falah Al Shemmari warned that ‘bachelors’ living in residential areas in the governorate would be immediately evicted unless they are living in the same address mentioned in their civil IDs. 

Speaking during a three-hour tour of the governorate’s areas, Shemmari said solving the problem of bachelors would be achieved by building special areas for them away from residential areas, such as Amghara and Subhan. 

He added that in collaboration with MoI and MEW, power would be disconnected in houses inhabited by bachelors in residential areas. He also noted that bachelors were mostly found in Salmiya and Rumaithiya and promised to hold a weekly tour on Tuesdays to detect violations and solve problems.
