Newlywed Couple Was Referred To The Criminal Court For Taking Divorce

 A newlywed couple was referred to the Criminal Court by the Public Prosecution after the groom broke the finger of his bride on their honeymoon, reports Al Shahed daily.

Details of the case revealed a heated argument transpired between the couple in their marital home, and the bride decided to leave but the groom slammed the door behind her, which resulted in injury to the bride’s finger by accident.

The groom called for ambulance and the bride was taken to hospital for necessary treatment. He has tried to make peace with her but she refuses to take him back and asked for her legal right by filing for divorce at the Family Court.
