No Jamming Devices In Central Prison - Moi

The ministry of interior on saturday denied a press report claiming that there are jamming devices with health risks on inmates at the central prison.

"This(claim) is utterly untrue,"the ministry's public relations and security media department.

It added that no prohibited devices that could affect health have been used.

According to the statement, the correctional institutions include officers and civilians, men and women, working there, and it is against logic exposing them, in any case, to any health hazards.

It urged the media to initially verify such news, and upload public interests which come on top of all priorities.
