Officers Arrested Six Ethiopian Women Who Violated The Residency Law
Officers from General Department for Residency Security Affairs arrested six Ethiopian women who violated the residency law and were working in a domestic labor office.
In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the Public Relations and Security Media Department explained that the General Department for Residency Security Affairs received information that a number of expatriates, who were reported as absconding, are running a domestic labor office. A team was formed and investigations were carried out to confirm the information.
The officers discovered that the domestic labor office was being managed by an Ethiopian woman and she had some women of same nationality working under her. These women used to cheat many Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates by taking money from them for providing domestic workers.
After taking necessary legal measures, securitymen raided the domestic labor office and arrested six Ethiopian women who were discovered to have violated the residency law. They were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
