Officers Found Weapons In Wafra Raids

Officers from the Weapons Collection Unit in the Interior Ministry on Tuesday raided several livestock pens in Wafra where they confiscated a large number of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. The raids were carried out under the supervision of Deputy Director General for Search and Surveillance in the General Directorate of Weapons Detective Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Al-Waheeb, with the participation of more than 30 police vehicles from the General Security and Traffic departments.

The operation started at 9:00 am when 15 police units raided various animal pens in the area. In the same context, Deputy Director of General Weapons Collection Department Brigadier AbdulRahman Al-Suheil revealed the raids were conducted in line with the third phase of the weapons collection strategy in Wafra and within the framework of the law.
