Pam Intends To Increase Fees For The Issuance Of Licenses And Work Permits Soon
The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Move to increase fees for issuance of licenses and work permits acting PAM Director Ahmad Mussa.
Affirming the authority made a good progress in the preparation of a study on the proposal to increase the fees for recruiting expatriate workers, Mussa disclosed the Fatwa and Legislation Department has been asked to present its opinion in this regard. He said the concerned minister has the right to issue a decision to increase the fees in accordance with Article 10 of Labor Law No. 6/2010.
He confirmed the board of directors of the authority has, in principle, approved the studies on increasing the fees, adding that the unified employment contract will be applied on all workers in Kuwait — both the old and new workers.
