Police Officer Offered Bribe To Release A Suspect

The Attorney-General Dhirar Al-Asousi has ordered the detention of head of the Capital Police Station for allegedly ‘receiving’ bribe to release some suspects from police custody, of police. This came after investigations conducted by personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department showed the senior officer receiving between KD 200 and KD 500 to set free the ‘criminals’.
