Public Works Ministry Is Planning To Built 1.6 Km Tunnel

Kuwait planning to built 1.6km tunnel as part of the first ring road development project. The project include constructing a tunnel that links the Grand Mosque with the Palace of Justice.  The ministry will receive technical offers for evaluation before awarding the projects, local daily Kuwait Times reported. According to report, it is difficult to determine the cost of the final stage at this time, especially that the tunnel is the first of its kind in Kuwait. The tunnel will be built between 10 to 16 meters underground, and will be 1.6 kilometers long. The project is expected to start in November 2019 and will end in October 2021.
