Raids On Several Animal Pens , Farms And No Of Wild Animals Seized

The Environment Police in cooperation with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) raided several animal pens and farms and seized a number of wild animals which were illegally kept hidden by their owners, reports Al- Shahed daily. The daily added, the raid followed complaints filed by several people. The phenomenon of keeping wild animals such as crocodiles and hyenas and can be a threat to people’s lives. The campaign resulted in the seizure numbers of many wild animals. The animals have been confiscated and the owners referred to the concerned authorities.
