Roads Will Be Closed For The Fireworks Show

All sections in the ministry are fully prepared for the fireworks show which will be held at 8:00 pm in front of Kuwait Towers on Saturday.

The show, which will be broadcasted live on Kuwait TV, is part of activities lined up for the celebration of three important national events — 55th Independence Day, 25th Liberation Day and 10th Anniversary of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s ascension to the throne. 
 

Department called on the public to strictly comply with the instructions of securitymen to ensure the safety of everyone.

It also disclosed that the command of the security force will be located opposite Abdulwahab Restaurant next to Safir Hotel, advising parents or families to approach the command in case they lose their children in the midst of revelers.

The department said some roads will be closed before and during the show, including both lanes of the crossing of the Second Ring Road with the Gulf Road up to the British Embassy, starting from 12:00 noon on Saturday.

The department added there are designated car parking areas in the Green Island, Daiya Cooperative Society, Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad Hall, Arabian Club in Mansouriya, Sharq Cooperative Society, yard in front of Souq Sharq, yard opposite Sharq Police Station and yard next to Ahmad Tower.
