Schools In Kuwait Witness A Crime Every 3 Days

The schools in Kuwait witness one crime every 3 days, revealed a study recently conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE). The schools in Kuwait witnessed 110 crimes over the 10 months of the past school year. 


This annual statistical report made by the social and psychological services department for the school year 2014-2015 showed that 99 crimes were committed by male students including, 58 Kuwaitis and 41 non-Kuwaitis. Meanwhile, girls’ schools only witnessed 11 crimes committed by 10 Kuwaiti students and one non-Kuwaiti student, the statistics show.


Statistics also showed that the crimes committed included 68 assaults, 31 thefts, eight sexual harassments, one attempted murder and two kidnaps.
