Sea Borders Security Department Seized Drugs

28 December 2015 Kuwait

The Sea Borders Security Department found 56 items suspected of being drugs, following a tip from an undercover source about an attempt to smuggle drugs by sea. A bag was found, and when opened, well-sealed cases containing the material were found. The material was sent to concerned authorities for testing. Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Sea Borders Security Affairs Major General Zuhair Al-Nasrallah and Acting Director General of Coast Guard Directorate Colonel Saleh Al-Foudary went to Sabah Al-Ahmad Naval Base and inspected the material.

Nasrallah thanked all workers at the sea security department for their efforts.
