Senior Daesh Member Jailed

The Court of Appeals upheld the verdict of the First Instance Court which imposed a seven- year jail term with hard labor on ‘Abi Abdullah Al-Kuwaiti’ who is considered among the leaders of DAESH as he enjoys high rank in this internationally banned terrorist organization and he is known as a dreams interpreter on Twitter, says Al-Seyassah.

The Public Prosecution charged the accused with carrying out hostile action against Iraq and Syria without permission from the government, as he joined the banned organization that aims to fight against these two countries, thereby, jeopardizing Kuwait’s relations with them. The prosecution also accused him of joining DAESH, encouraging others to do the same, acquiring and possessing firearms, forging travel document and misusing mobile phone.
