All the thieves are Ethiopian Detectives arrested the suspects after receiving reports from car owners about the burglaries. In cooperation with Ajman Police, all the suspects were arrested in their apartment in Ajman.
After their arrest, the suspects admitted they stole from dozens of cars. Police recovered a number of valuable items which included 11 smartphones, 8 branded watches, women’s hand bags, and sun glasses, which were found hidden in the ceiling of the apartment.
Sharjah Police arrested the culprits and referred them to the public prosecution for further action. Colonel Ebrahim Al Ajel, Head of Criminal and Investigation Department at Sharjah Police, advised people not “to leave any valuables in their cars, even small coins, because it could tempt those who have weak souls”.
