Single E-medical Record System At School Clinics Soon - Moh

The Ministry of Health announced on Monday the uniform e-medical record system would be applied at school clinics involving, public, private and special education schools in the coming few days. The move will be initially put in place at Farwaniya schools, and then schools at other educational areas will follow suit as per a definite timeframe, Assistant Undersecretary of the Health Ministry for Technical Affairs Qais Al-Dweiri said in a press statement.

The Ministry's School Health Department has already completed all necessary requirements for all grades at six educational areas, he added. 

It has provided 818 school clinics at health areas with all required medical supplies and 888 well-trained medics, the official pointed out. The ministry, represented by the school health department has launched a campaign to raise public awareness about seasonal influenza at a total of 820 schools including special education facilities, Al-Dweiri added.
