Special Squad Hunt For Illegal Weapons

Public Relations and Security Media confirmed that the Search and Investigations Department conducted an extensive campaign in Mubarak Al Kabeer and Sabah Al Salem areas Saturday as part of efforts to implement Article 1 of Law No. 6/2015 related to the collection of unlicensed weapons and ammunition. The two and half hours operation was conducted in coordination with officers from General Department for Rescue, General Department for Traffic and Public Security Sector, as they closed all roads to and from the areas to prevent escaping of those wanted and violators. They arrested three citizens wanted for civil execution and referred them to concerned authorities for necessary action.
