Temperature To Drop On Friday Ending 40 Day Cold Waves

The weather will stabilize from tomorrow, only to mark the beginning of a 13 day cold wave, also known as Al-Naayem on Friday which can be extremely cold, accompanied by night frost in desert areas, says Astronomer, Adel Al-Marzouq.

Marzouq warned residents that these days would be followed by four even colder days. At the commencement of 40 days, the weather is predicted to be clear with northwesterly moderate cold wind and low temperature at night which might drop to two or three degrees in the desert region during night and dawn.

January 15 is said to be the start of the Naayem cold waves, accompanied by light showers during nightfall. As for 16 January, the temperature is predicted to rise with a possibility of scattered rain. Also the temperature is said to reach 18-21 C by day and 6-8 C at day by next week.
