Traffic Fines Unlocked

The Ministry of Interior’s Traffic General Department has unlocked the traffic fines committed in 2015 and earlier for one complete month starting yesterday, with the exemption of serious violations like driving with a driver’s license for non-Kuwaitis, high speeds and 2016 violations, Director of Traffic Fine Investigations Brigadier Mohsen Al-Mekhyal said.

Mekhya explained that violators could pay off their tickets online through the ministry’s website, or at various traffic departments and service centers.

Further, Mekhyal explained that motorists who had their vehicles or licenses withdrawn should check with the traffic fine investigations department once they have paid off their tickets.
