Traffic Police Removed 480 Abandoned Vehicles From Road Side

General Traffic Department launched campaign in different parts of the country to focus on abandoned vehicles and violation of public security to curb negative phenomena on the roads while reducing traffic jam and protecting road users.

The operation was conducted upon the directive of the Undersecretary of Interior Ministry Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad supervised by acting Director of Technical inspection Department Colonel Ibrahim Al-Sahli. The campaign led to the issuance of citations against 480 abandoned vehicles. The vehicles were later towed to the ministry garages in coordination with Kuwait Municipality.
