Trio Arrested For Drug Trafficking

Three expatriates — an Indian, a Nepalese and a Sri Lankan — were arrested for drug peddling. When the Drug Control General Department received information about the three expatriates involved in selling drugs, a team was formed for investigations and arresting the suspects. The Indian was seized in a trap while selling drugs to an undercover agent. He was found in possession of 15 grams of crystal meth and 20 grams of hashish. The 27-year old Nepalese was arrested in possession of 100 grams of heroin and 10 grams of crystal meth and the Sri Lankan was arrested in possession of 500 grams of marijuana. The three traffickers have been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
