Two Egyptian Expats Were Arrested In Hawally

two Egyptian expatriates were arrested in Hawally area in possession of three cigarettes rolled with hashish and narcotic pills.

They were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Customs officers assigned in Nuwaiseeb border arrested three persons for attempting to smuggle drugs into the country, reports Al-Anba daily.

The three persons appeared agitated when they were approaching the inspection desk so the inspectors checked them thoroughly, resulting in the confiscation of 160 grams of heroin hidden under the front seat of the suspects’ vehicle.

The contraband and the three persons were referred to the Drug Control General Department.
