Two Iranian Expats Have Been Arrested For The Recent Murder Of Two Kuwaiti Citizens And An Indonesian Woman In Salwa Area
1976-born Mohammad Abdul Redha Nawasser and 1985-born Ali Mohammad Al-Bughaibesh, have been arrested for the recent murder of two Kuwaiti citizens and an Indonesian woman in Salwa area.
In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media declared that the Hawally branch of General Department of Criminal Investigation arrested the suspects in less than 24 hours after the crime took place on Friday morning. It explained that the suspects were arrested after intense investigations were carried out and information provided by eyewitnesses was considered. In addition, the detectives also obtained footage from the security cameras installed in the building where the crime took place.
Both suspects are Iranian expatriates — The first suspect Mohammad Abdul Redha Nawasser worked as a cook for the house owner and was the one who had tied the victims’ hands and feet before they were executed. The second suspect Ali Mohammad Al-Bughaibesh was responsible for executing the three victims with a gun.
On that fateful day, one of the suspects called the other from the apartment to implement the plan that they had previously worked on and agreed on the best time to carry out the crime. When the second suspect arrived at the apartment, the first suspect opened the door for him. They both then threatened the victims with handguns.
They tied up the victims and then killed them execution style. Before escaping, the two suspects stole KD 276,000 and three guns belonging to the house owner. Detectives from Hawally Criminal Investigation Department arrested the first suspect in Salwa area while the second suspect was arrested from a hotel in Hawally area immediately after they received information about the suspect’s intention to flee the country. Both suspects admitted to the crime, and described in detail the way they carried out the crime.
They later led the detectives to the location where they had stashed the cash, the weapon they used, and other weapons they stole from the house owner. The suspects have been referred with the confiscated weapons and cash to the concerned authorities where necessary legal action has been taken against them.
