Two Kuwaiti Imams Suspended

Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has temporarily suspended two Kuwaiti imams and referred them to the Committee for Religious Affairs for investigations over their violation of the mosques’ charter and their criticism of governmental agencies ministerial sources. They revealed that the ministry is setting up a team to monitor the comments of imams on social media and deal with sectarian issues.
