United Nations Chief To Visit Kuwait Next Week
The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon will visit Kuwait early next week as part of a regional shuttle tour which includes also Israel, Gaza and occupied West bank. He will meet the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his special envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed. The spokesman of the UN Secretary-General Stéphane Dujarric said that Ban Ki-moon would also meet the Yemeni parties which are engaged in UN-brokered peace negotiations.
