Woman Sentenced To Death For Murdering Her Husband In Khitan

An Egyptian woman was sentenced to death in absentia for murdering her husband at home in the district of Khitan. 

The woman left her eight-month-old baby with her compatriot neighbour after committing the crime and fled to her country.

A few hours later, she sent a message to the neighbour informing her that she travelled to Egypt and that somebody else will get the baby from her.

She had sent her other children to Egypt two days before the incident and found it difficult to take the infant with her.

The fugitive convict was arrested in Egypt.
