Workers Prohibited To Work Under The Sun From 12 To 4 - Effective From June 1 To Aug 31 - Pam
Deputy Director General of Manpower Protection Department at Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Abdullah Al-Mutawtah declared that the decision to prohibit workers from working under the sun from 12 pm to 4 pm will be effective from June 1 to August 31.
Al-Mutawtah revealed that a team of officials will be touring the country on inspection to ensure that companies and establishments abide by this law.
He explained that the major team set up six subteams to cover each of the six governorates, affirming that these teams will be working from 11 am to 4 pm every day.
Al-Mutawtah indicated that the teams will be moving in a secretive manner to ensure that employers are caught unawares. He affirmed that any employer found violating the regulation will be fined KD 100 per worker and referred for investigation.
