Founded in 1949 by two Entrepreneurs, Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Razzuqi and Mr. Daniel Hasso, UTC now has over 60 years of experience in the region, surviving some of the toughest economic setbacks and the invasion crisis of 1990. Despite the economic and market changes, UTC has shown an outstanding ability to adapt and adjust with the market – resulting in the company experiencing a period of strong volume growth during the 2009/10 Global Financial Crisis.

In Retail, UTC is among the largest department store chains in Kuwait, and operates 17 retail outlets, including specialized boutiques for Lee, Wrangler and Gas Clothing. In wholesale, market penetration is extensive with over 3,000 customer accounts reaching over 90% of potential consumers. 

UTC also operates its own Service & Repair centers, where customers can have their electronic appliances serviced and maintained by our team of trusted professionals.
