Job Description

GCS is seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer to Implement Cybersecurity (Cs) programs in accordance with DODI.2 and ensure that Cs related IS are functional and secure within the Network Enclave.
IAM Level III serves as Cybersecurity officer for multiple CEs or Network Environments (NEs).
Develop, implement, and enforce DoD policies and procedures.
Prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, guidance, and standard operating procedures concerning the security of network system(s) operations. Assist in the gathering and preservation of evidence used in the prosecution of computer crimes. Review Cs security plans for the NE.
Provide leadership and direction to NE personnel by ensuring that Cs awareness, basics, literacy, and training are provided to operations personnel commensurate with their responsibilities.
Develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and follow NE and Cs policies and procedures. Advise the Authorizing Official (formerly DAA) of any changes affecting the NE Cs posture.
Conduct an NE physical security assessment and ensure weakness are corrected physical security. Ensure that compliance monitoring occurs, and review results of such monitoring across the NE. Other duties as assigned
Prepare DIACAP/Risk Management Framework Packages and makes recommendation to Certification Authority and Authorizing Official. Develop and maintain approved software listing.
Conduct evaluation of Tier I and II network enclaves to ascertain security posture.
Review Program Manage system security status ensures all PM systems have up to date accreditation document. Perform system analysis on Strategic connection out of scope of standardized DISA connections.
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience
Must have 6 years of professional experience
At least 3 years within Cs arena and to include incident handling in a computer network defense role.
Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual components.
Familiarity with DISA STIGs and Auditing Servers, systems, Group Policy, Accounts, and passwords Working knowledge of the DIACAP and other DOD Certification and Accreditation processes.
Experienced in Active Directory, HBSS and Microsoft core infrastructure technologies.
Must have active Top Secret clearance
