The successful candidate will be a qualified architect with strong, proven design and technical skills and experience of developing schemes for multiple design and interior design projects. They will have significant experience of managing teams of junior architects and draftsmen as well as organizing and coordinating the work of team mates.

Duties and responsibilities 
These shall include, but are not limited to the following:

o Architectural design from first principles for large and multi-dimensions projects
o Development of concepts through detailed design and into construction documentation
o Prepare architectural shop drawings and specifications to enable clear information to be issued to the site and construction team.
o Lead the effort for sourcing materials and construction systems for projects based on a keen understanding of functional requirements, value for money, availability and appropriateness.
o Understand and analyse designs completed by others and to identify, discuss and implement efficiencies which can be achieved
o Coordinate the work of his team with the other engineering and design disciplines within the office.
o Take responsibility for checking the completeness, accuracy and quality of his work.
o Through time-management and careful programming of activities, ensure the work assigned to the architectural department is completed according to deadlines.
o Be proactive in identifying and solving problems, conflicts and errors in the technical and management roles of this position.
