Description
Honeywell’s Prepositioning and Marine Corps Logistics Services (P&MCLS) program is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy.

We are accepting resumes for a Supply Chain Manager position for Kuwait location.

Position Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees performing duties including receiving, inspecting, locating, storing, staging, loading, and disposing of equipment and supplies, in support of supply chain management operations related to the Marine Expeditionary Unit Augmentation Program (MAP) equipment and supplies in Kuwait.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing the logistics actions necessary to accept, account for, prepare equipment for shipment, meet all agricultural requirements and maintain in-transit visibility by supervising data entry personnel, supply clerks, warehouse workers, forklift and heavy equipment operators who are performing a wide variety of Supply Chain duties to obtain maximum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel in a safe environment.
Coordinates and manages the temp loan process of MAP equipment to authorized units as directed by Headquarters Marine Corps.
Responsible for the management and accountability of the Equipment Density List (EDL) approved allowance assets, sub-float account, organic government furnished equipment and the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) assigned assets.
Responsible for the management and reporting of Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) supply records, request management, fiscal accountability, and equipment disposition.
Determines the type and sequence of work assignment on the basis of work priority and availability of inventory and supplies.
Inspects work performed to ensure compliance with established procedures and time schedules.
Works closely with maintenance operations to coordinate receiving, LTI, reporting, shipping and transporting of MAP assets.
Supervises personnel in the receiving, inventory and preparation of materials and equipment for safe shipping over public highways and railways.
Maintains up to date status for all inbound and outbound material and equipment and provides reports as directed.
Plans and lays out staging areas for incoming and outgoing MAP equipment.
Ensures compliance with Supply administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations.
Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary actions. Trains new workers.
Recommends changes to procedures as appropriate.
Maintains P&MCLS ISO-9002 policies and procedures and ensures on-going compliance with such.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
AA degree with a major study in logistics engineering, property control/inventory, supply management, or related field.
In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
Ten (10) years of directly related work experience.
Four (4) years minimum supervisory experience in a supply or maintenance environment.
US Citizen. Proof required.
Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Valid state Motor Vehicle Operator License.
Applicants must be able to obtain a finding of ‘NO RECORD’ on the FBI Background Investigation.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed advanced military supply officer course or civilian equivalent
Ability to operate personal computers, multimedia data entry, and scanning and retrieval systems functions
Solid understanding of the organization’s logistics functions and the activities involved in providing logistical support
Working knowledge of DOT regulations covering the handling, storage, preparation for packaging, packing, of hazardous or restricted materials

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
Experience with Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps
Experience with warranty repair or warranty administration

Experience and knowledge of requisitioning requirements utilizing appropriate Stock List, Parts Manuals, and Technical Manuals
