Description
:   The Logistics Solutions Operation at Leidos is currently seeking a Residue and Packaging Technician (Supply Tech I) to support the ASP/TSA program effort in Kuwait.  

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
 
Reports to the Residue and Packaging Supervisor. Handles residue and packaging material turned in from customer units. Ensures safe handling procedures and explosive safety requirements are followed for the receipt, storage, maintenance, and issue of ammunition residue and packaging materials. 
 
Responsible for munitions inspections and percent accountability. Ensures residue and excess packaging materials are properly stored, inventoried, inspected, secured, properly documented and reported. Ensures the unit residue turn-in team strictly adheres to applicable Army regulations. 
 
Schedules and coordinates with QASAS. Escorts, loads, and unloads trucks in the ammunition residue yard. Sorts, segregates, visually inspects and locates items by item, type, caliber, DODIC, lot number and condition codes. Maintain magazine data cards and planographs on location and update as necessary. Reports any safety violations to Residue and Packaging Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. 

 Qualifications
:  High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of supply and logistical experience in the U.S. military. Must have Ammunition and Explosives Safety experience. Required to have experience in ammunition storage, issue, receipt, preparation, safety and accountability procedures. 
 
* Must have MHE forklift license and valid U.S. driver’s license. If prior military, prefer an E-4 or above or equivalent civilian experience with current certifications. Must possess the ability to speak, read, and write in the English language. 
 
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Local background checks are required. 
 
IMPORTANT NOTE: Kuwait Immigration Requirements for obtaining a Kuwait work visa include but are not limited to obtaining and providing an authenticated police background check verifying NO prior criminal history.
