Hellboy - Seed Of Destruction

We’ve picked Hellboy: Seed of Destruction for our Comics Club discussion in April. Written and created by Mike Mignola and published by Dark Horse Comics.
This choice is something different from the superhero stories in DC and Marvel universes but gives us the right dose of the supernatural.
Seed of Destruction works as an intro to Hellboy and introduces an unexpected kind of plot. The beauty of drawings compliments the beauty of the language used in creating this story.

The most interesting thing in reading Hellboy is that despite its many supernatural elements, it echoes within our reality in such an unexpected way.
There are 2 movie adaptations by Guillermo del Toro. We will include these in our discussion. And there will be a new one coming out next week. Very exciting! Our meeting will be on April 24.
