INK PAINT

The wait’s over ya’ll. The results of the INK + PAINT Experiment, a collaboration between Kuwait Poets Society and Artspace, are in and they are freakin’ amazing.
This Saturday, April 8th, join us for the opening night of the INK + PAINT Exhibit at Artspace at 6 pm. The poets and artists who collaborated blindly will be meeting each other for the very first time, so don’t wear anything flammable cause sparks are gonna fly.
Open to the public, no registration required.
INK + PAINT is a collaborative experiment that brings together poetry and art.
In INK + PAINT, twenty poets and twenty artists are paired randomly and blindly to create a paired piece featuring a poem and a painting.
Each poet writes a poem, and the poem is then randomly given to an artist to create a painting inspired by the poem.
