SG Kuwait

SG[Kuwait] is a unique educational workshop for the youth in Kuwait.

This workshop has multiple objectives which include: 
+ Promote importance/benefits of science & technology to youth in Kuwait
+ Encourage young Kuwaitis to voice their ideas for the development of the country 
+ Guide and mentor Kuwaiti youth into developing their ideas into structured and professional proposals
+ Provide opportunity to youth to learn about space technologies 
+ Explore different possibilities to establish a space program
+ Explore new business opportunities in space technology domain to be proposed to the local private sector 

Participants will write a proposal to establish a space program or new ideas for business opportunity that utilize space technology.
They will have access to educational resources, mentorship and a guideline template. 
The educational resources will be available online, and it will cover the following areas: 
• Space Engineering.
• Space Science
• Space Humanities
• Space Applications.
• Space Life Science and Human Behaviors.
• Space Management and Business.
• Space Policy and Economics
• Examples of another space programs around the world

Mentors will be professional experts from the space industry and will include engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and lawyers involved in space commercialization. Mentors will be accessible online.

Schedule:
February-March - Registration March-May - Participants will write their proposals June - Event day, all the teams will present their proposals and one team will be announced as the winner.

Prize
The prize will consist of a trip with all expenses paid, for the winning team, to a major international event regarding space
